OUR GOAL IS SIMPLE: LET’S REBUILD TOGETHER, IN A WAY THAT STRENGTHENS BOTH OUR HOMES AND OUR COMMUNITY. AND MAKE IT BETTER.
The Bunch Design “Like for Like” Program is built on a few simple principals:

We start the rebuild process with your original home, the original character of Altadena. By doing so, we can ease into the rebuild process together. As long as we can stay within the county’s “Like for Like“ definition, we can adjust the design to meet your current and future needs as well as your dreams; reimagine your new home together.
BRING OUR RESIDENTIAL DESIGN EXPERTISE
We are Licensed Architects with 15 years of residential design experience. We can advise on updating your house to meet modern life style needs and wants, current code, consideration for future flexibility, and design a resilient house over time and environment.
HAVE A BIT OF FUN WITH US
Our typical projects are custome homes so we are used to creating fun spaces and inventive programming. We are happy to share ideas that may not have existed before in your house, but you may like.
SHARED DESIGN PROCESS
We share our design process, inviting owners to join through in-office , or zoom, design sessions. We render and model all along so you can easily visualize what you will get, inside and out.
WE KNOW THIS PROCESS. IT’S WHAT WE DO
We have many rebuilds in construction right now with more coming. The drawing sets are Architect level drawings, coordinated with engineers, and getting swift County approvals. Materials and fixtures are selected and allowed for with complete bids sent to qualified and experienced local contractors.

WHY WE DO
We are established residential architects with a storefront in La Canada, a few miles down the road from Altadena.
Our office is in La Canada, few miles away from Altadena and the Foothill area. Our kids went to Odyssey Charter School in Altadena. Our family friends, our kids’ friends, our teachers, our sub-contractors, our existing + former clients have all been massively impacted by the Eaton fire.
Our architecture practice has always been to work with folks with dreams and ideas, sometimes bigger than their budgets, and we come up with clever and inventive ways to realize them together.
We are deeply committed to the Altadena community. We want to lead a rebuild effort. We are here for you as a resource regardless of if you hire us or not.
